  more: //   wears an eye-patch (often dark blue) due to her eye injury.after the war, with the sense of purpose that revenge had given her after her mother's death lost, caitlyn found herself in a labyrinth: who was she, now that the rage that had driven her for so long didn't burn as intensely as it once had? it still left its mark on her chest, but it was something she could live with now. something she could drive, instead of letting it drive her.the war had left her with more than one wound. guilt, loss and frustration ate away at her nights in symphony, not letting her rest as her body so longed for: instead, she hid away in the repairs needed to restore piltover (and zaun) to its pre-war state. if she worked, whether with her hands or her mind, she didn’t have to think about those thoughts that took her breath away. and yet, they took over her being at the most inappropriate times.

once reparations were declared complete, the most necessary step of the entire journey appeared: not only maintaining peace between piltover and zaun, but giving zaun the rights it deserved. having sullied her family name in her quest for a revenge she never got, the first step to repairing her legacy (and doing the right thing) was to use that same name to push for the introduction of the zaunites into the conversation, hoping to bridge the gap.Her home lay in the duty she had before her. Although she was offered many higher positions, she found it ridiculous to accept any that wasn't what truly guided her. And so she accepted the position of sheriff of Piltover, hoping to work together with the two cities to maintain the fragile peace and to repair what she once damaged.
